Neil has been practicing in public accounting since 1996. He has many years of experience providing business valuation, audit and tax services for a variety of industries and companies such as: Banks and financial institutions, manufacturing companies, automobile dealerships, oil and gas production, service and drilling companies, construction, health care companies, food and beverage distributing companies, wholesale trade companies, and the entertainment industry.

Neil earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1996. He earned recognition for many of his accomplishments in college, including the opportunity to work as an intern for the Kerr-McGee Corporation in their Oklahoma City Headquarters in 1995. He obtained the designation of Certified Public Accountant designation in May of 1999. Neil earned his Accreditation in Business Valuation from the AICPA in February of 2007.

Neil and his wife, Jaime, have been married since October 16, 1999 and have two children, Gracie and Jacob. Neil serves as a member of the Audit Review Board for the Tulsa Area United Way, several fundraising organizations for the benefit of Oklahoma State University and has serviced as the Chairman of the Public Relations Committee the OSCPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants.

With more than 40 years of experience, Steve has a wealth of knowledge in many facets of the Accounting Industry. He has established a reputation for providing excellent service and advice to individuals and corporations in Tulsa and the surrounding areas. His honest and direct approach to the profession has created excellent relationships with his clients.

Prior to founding Jay & Associates, P.C. in 1988, Steve served as Managing Partner of Lohrey & Jay, CPA’s from 1976 to 1988, as a public accountant for Arthur Young & Company from 1971 to 1976. Steve served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army from 1969 through April of 1971 and is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War.

Steve earned a Master’s of Science in Accounting in 1969 and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1967. He obtained the designation of Certified Public Accountant in 1969 and became accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) in February of 1998.

He has significant involvement in accounting, taxation and auditing services for such industries as petroleum, manufacturing, construction, banking and finance. In addition, he has also provided planning and supervision of tax engagements, compliance work, tax accruals and client representation before the IRS and has provided expert testimony before federal and state courts.

Originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma, Steve resides in Tulsa with his wife, Nancy. He and Nancy have two sons and two daughters that have received college degrees in a variety of specialties. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he remains active serving his community by his membership at Redeemer Covenant Church, formerly serving as President of the Oaks Country Club, and various charitable and fundraising groups relating to Oklahoma State University.

Jamie practices in many areas of public accounting including audit, attestation, and compilation services as well as taxation. In addition, he provides accounting consultation services including outsourced accounting management, assistance in financial statement preparation and GAAP conversions among other related accounting functions.

Prior to joining the firm, he spent over 5 years with an international Big 4 public accounting firm as an Audit Manager. In that role, he provided external audit services for both public and private companies in a variety of industries with significant experience in the Exploration & Production segment of the Oil & Gas industry.

Jamie earned a Master’s of Science degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 2004. He was involved on campus through leadership roles in Beta Alpha Psi, membership in Pi Kappa Phi and active membership in a social fraternity. Jamie earned recognition for many of his accomplishments within the School of Accounting through receipt of several scholarships, including a four year President’s Distinguished Scholarship. He was also recognized as one of the top three accounting students in his graduating class. He obtained the designation of Certified Public Accountant in 2006.

Jamie and his wife, Kristin, have been married since June 5, 2004. Jamie is active in his local church and recently served as a member of the St Simeon’s Western Days advisory committee and has been involved in numerous volunteer efforts related to the Tulsa Area United Way including the United Way Audit Committee. He is also involved with various fundraising and alumni activities for the benefit of Oklahoma State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. Outside of work Jamie is an avid golfer and cyclist and rides for the Bicycles of Tulsa race team.

Melissa Bradley, CPA

Melissa joined the firm in 1990 and provides tax and various accounting services for individuals, businesses, estates and trusts. She corresponds with the IRS and other tax authorities as needed to resolve client issues. In addition, she assists clients with tax research to optimize business decisions.

Melissa graduated with honors from Texas A&M University in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. After graduation she earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant in 1985 and went to work in the tax department of Deloitte Haskins & Sells in Dallas, Texas. When she and her family moved to Tulsa in 1990, she joined Jay & Associates on a part time basis. She has maintained her memberships in the Texas and Oklahoma Societies of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Melissa and her husband, Steve, have been married since 1985 and have five children. Steve is an engineer with Rhodia, Inc. Melissa and Steve are active in children, youth and music ministries of their church. They have served as officers and active members in PTA, Homeowners Association, Union Band, Baseball, Volleyball, Upward Basketball, TCC cello choir, and numerous other activities.
